A Trucker’s Life

With summer coming on, many families start to plan their vacation trips, children are out of school and activities centered around family gain momentum during the school holidays. Yet, truckers are still out on the road. Yes, you can plan a week here or there but it isn’t quite as easy as it is for office workers to get that planned vacation in. There are too many variables for one; load needs to be rescued and you are the closest, emergency hot load and dispatch is really counting on you to be the one to deliver it. Truckers and their families know just how rare it is to get time off for family or vacation time. When you hear about the sacrifices truckers make, it is no small thing. Many things we take for granted are things truckers and their families have learn to give up for the sake of making sure America is supplied with their needs and wants. I want to take this time to thank all truckers and their families for everything they are willing to do without so we don’t have to. I strongly recommend you take the time this summer to thank a trucker in your own way. Let’s show them love and support!
