April's Driver Spotlight

Meet Jose Salmeron. Jose was born and raised in Santa Rosa de Lima, El Salvador but lives in Irving, TX with his wonderful family. He and his wife have three children; Joseph, Lucy and our very own Senen! Jose was introduced to trucking by his brother-in-law 15 years ago because while things had slowed down economically, trucking was still going strong. Jose first met Shelley back in 2014 when he started driving for the company she was at in 2014. In 2016, we got Shelley and many other incredible drivers including Jose! We were so excited in August of 2018 when Jose decided to purchase his own truck and entered into a lease agreement with Freedom. Jose says what he loves most about trucking is getting to see all the new places he hasn’t ever been to before. Jose’s hobby is cooking; he’s a TX Gordon Ramsey! Truly! He used to be a chef! Jose likes to spend time with his family. He loves bowling, watching basketball and soccer in his spare time. We have been so blessed with Jose and look forward to many more years with him!
