Driver Spotlight

Henry was born and raised in Shelby, NC and now lives in Smithfield, NC with his wife, Shannon. They have four kids, Henry, Selena, Shawn and Shelby as well as two dogs, Oreo and Teq Teq. Henry retired from the Army and then worked as a civilian overseas. He was still working in Afghanistan when he called Freedom to see about driving for us! Henry’s brother has been in the trucking industry for over 35 years. Henry drove a school bus in his last years in High School and got his CDLs back in 1997. What he likes most about trucking is being able to work/drive and still enjoy the beautiful countryside. Henry likes to tinker and drive his 1972 Chevelle, shooting pool, four-wheeling and fishing. In his spare time, he grooms his lawn (voted best in his neighborhood), enjoying family cook-outs, playing cards and watching his favorite TV shows with his wife. We are so blessed to have Henry as part of our Freedom family!
